Welcome 2016 - Plushiland Finds New Home

After many months of Exile (storage boxes), Plushiland has finally found a new home. We are now living in somewhat reduced circumstances compared to before, but we make the best of it. Before we were allowed into Plushiland we had to experience the indignity of being vacuumed to remove any storage dust.

During the year some of us were able to travel. Piep Mouse and Nooshie travelled to the United States. This was one of those trips that, I, Ratti von Plush did not go on. I do not travel with Nooshie as he is far too anti-Plush (social). I am hoping to travel to the USA later this year to meet some local PLushis.

Around the Royal Birthday Month, November we travelled to the seaside, to get away from the hectic affairs of Plushiland. The weather was not great and the venue was a bit boring. But if you have to depend on The HUMANS to make the travel arrangements, this is what happens.

We are really hoping in 2016 to keep the number of new Plushis down but there seems to be a constant stream into Plushiland. At least we have a large balcony from which we can look down on the HUMANS.

Plushiland in Exile & Royal Visit to Monaco

Some may wonder why We have been quiet for a while. Well, we must tell you that currently Plushiland is in Exile. We had to give up Plushi Towers. WE are currently trying to find a new home. This means that many members of Plushiland are currently in suspended fluff animation. To you, this means they are currently sleeping in boxes in storage. Only the Elite of Plushiland managed to escape this fate, Ourself included. We are now in reduced circumstances and have to make do with much less space. We all  hope that we will find a new permanent home soon, but this is proving to be difficult.

These difficulties did not stop some of US from making a small Royal Visit to Monaco last month. We arrived at Nice (Nizza) and were collected by car. Thereafter We had lunch in Nice. There was a brilliant view from the hotel.

Later We flew by helicopter to Monaco. I am happy to report that our accommodation in Monaco was up to my high standards. We also met a local Disney, who gave us insights into how the Rich Plushis live.

I made a trip to look at the yachts after having an early breakfast at a local coffee shop. Nothing for me, they had everything but fluff on the menu. To those who care, trying to find something decent to eat as a Vegetarian in Monaco or France is not easy. The fluff also smells a bit funny there too, like the cheese too ripe.

We managed to acquire another Von Plush while in Monaco, Prince Albert Von Plush of Monaco. I think he is a bit disappointed at the accommodation he has found here back at Plushiland-in-Exile. Oh yes and Prince George of Brit-Plush has a sister, but they are in storage, so not much news coming through.

 I hope to soon have the rest of my minions out of storage, but as We are dependent on the HUMAN for this it might take a while.

As mentioned in my last update, I was planning to visit Brit-Plush (England). I am pleased to report that I had a very successful trip. We flew from Plushiland into London City Airport, where we were collected by a car and taken to our accommodation.






I demanded suitable transport, but had to settled for taxis and public transport, the London Underground (Tube). Horrible all the smelly HUMANS. When you get HUMAN smell on your Fluff it is very hard to get rid of it again. Nasty smelly HUMANS.

We visited the Tower of Brit-Plush (London). Where lots of "Off with his head" happened. The Lady Edna joined me on my two visits to the Tower of Brit-Plush. I was interested to see where the English Kings got rid of their enemies in the past. I also like the DIAMONDS in the Crown Jewels.

After hectic days in London we had to get away to the country. We stayed in a decent hotel close to Oxford.

We made a trip into the town of Oxford the next day. Of course our numbers grew, and I had to travel back to the hotel with the two new members of Plushiland, Charlie Bear and Peter Rabbit. I would like to complain that this arrangement did not suit me in the slightest.

Holy Days in Plushiland - Easter for HUMANS

For some HUMANS, you will shortly be having your Easter, and other Holy Days. We in Plushiland will be having one of our Holy days as well. This is another day dedicated to our Lord, the Great Plushi In the SKYE. At this time of the year we also commemorate all those Easter Bunnies Plushis that managed to escape from the abuse of HUMAN Easter. The Lady Margi Von Plush addressed a gathering of Easter Plush Bunnies this afternoon. She asked them to think of the poor Easter Plushis still remaining in captivity in the HUMAN world. And of course all the real Rabbits that are kept in tiny cages by Bratty HUMAN Kids!

Just to make sure that there were no political overtones to the meeting, I, Ratti Von Plush attended and watched from the Royal Basket. You will notice that my evil Cousin, Red-Ratti Von PLush was also present. As a member of the NSA he advises me on any subversive matters. I am happy to report that Lady Margi did not call on the Bunnies to revolt against me and set up their own, Bunny Plushi Republic or Join the Kingdom of Pushtin. But you can never be too careful. As tyrants all over the world, know all too well.

Plushiland has a new resident, he is some sort of Owl-like creature called, Edragardia Von Plush. He turned up late last night. Because of the lateness of the hour, he did not receive the normal welcome. But instead spend the night with other Plushis from the Union of Feather Plushis. Edragardia did have to have immediate eye surgery this afternoon. So those locals complaining of immigrants getting all the medical attention might have a Flyff. Anyway Edragardia has made a full recovery and will be able to take part in our Great PLushi in the Skye Celebrations this weekend.

Finally spare a thought for all the chocolate bunnies that you eat at Easter. Also you might want to celebrate life by not killing and Eating LAMBS at Easter. Just a thought, but what do I know about Cruelty and Life and Death.

On a positive note, the Royal Balcony has finally been renovated and I can now address the Serfs from my new Balcony.

Plushiland Welcomes back Ratti Von Plush

It has now been a week since we returned from our trip to South Africa. It seems that in the process we have managed to acquire additional immigrants. Two new Plushis managed to get into the luggage. So there were two new faces to greet me, when I woke up back in Plushiland. They are Nagapie Von Plush and Hippo Von Plush.

Apparently they had been granted Plushiland Enterance Visas at Johannesburg Airport (YES, YES. I know it is called the Oliver Tambo International Airport!!!). Not by me, but THE HUMAN. Bit of a cheek really. INDIGNITY! I mean, fair enough, Plushiland can always use addtional slaves, I mean serfs, oh no we call them Subjects, no wait I think the Politically Correct term for HUMANS is Wage Slaves.... So Plushis must be cuddle slaves.

But I digress. It seems very wrong that the Royal Plushiland delegation, including me, Ratti Von Plush, should travel in the hold, while these new immigrants got to travel in the hand luggage. Only economy (Battery chicken class - okay it is worse for the chickens - than British Airways Economy Class) I will be looking into this serious violation of my rights.

I notice that President Pushtin of Russia, has been doing a bit of map redrawing. Bla, bla - I know Crimea was part of Russia in the past. If I understand this correctly: if another country has a significant number of your "people" then you can hold a "referundum" and take over the place. Although, I have not been around that long, I believe it has been tried before with very bad results. With out refering to any events in the last 100 years, I too have had a good idea.

Seeing there are a significant number of Plushis living in Germany, France, Belgium and England, I have decided to ask the PLushis in these countries if they would like to join PLushiland. And I will then be their leader and ensure that their Plushi RIghts are Protected AGAINST  you evil HUMANS. Once again I must thank President Pushtin, for determining Plushiland Foreign Policy. Besides PLushiland is getting a bit full with all the Plushimmigrants from Europe (and Africa). I am not sure if we should limit European Plushimmigration (these foreign Plushis are getting all the cuddles and housing in Plushiland; or just take over the countries they come from to protect their Plushi-Rights, and our jobs of course.

The European Parliamentary elections take place in May, not sure How I can use this to my advantage. But no doubt I will come up with something. Maybe register the Plushi-Party of Europe. No less silly than some of the other parties. Like the UK Independence Party! Well, anyway. I must go and scheme a bit more. Plushi Politics calls.

It has been a while since my last post. I have a nice new ribbon.

In my last post I mentioned that I would be going to Brit-Plush (England) for the HUMAN Christmas. I hope that you all behaved yourselves, did not get too drunk or spend too much money. How many of your are still paying off Xmas 2012? I never spend more than I have, beside I do not buy presents or gifts for other Plushis. They give me gifts because I am so wonderful...

Well we (Ratti, Edna, King Drooley, Count Eccles and Tollie) travelled to Brit-Plush with the HUMAN. As usual we had to travel in the suitcase. It is not so bad as soon as it goes dark [Suitcase is closed] we PLushis go to sleep. It was a really early start for the HUMAN, but we went to sleep the previous evening.

In very disturbing news, one of my spies in Brit-Plush send me these pictures of Plushis being abused by humans. These poor PLushis have no homes, live out side some impaled on spikes, to suffer and fade in the sun. I have made a complaint at the International Court of Plushi-Rights. This sort of thing cannot continue. Please ensure that you provide proper housing for all your Plushis. Thank you to SW for reporting this to me.

In happier news. HUMANS have shown kindness to Bats Babies in Australia. Due to the recent heat wave in Australia, [there is no such thing as Global Warming!], these Bat Babies had fallen out of their tree. They are being well cared for as you can see. Cute, Cute, Cute.
